UFC 185 will feature a heavyweight scrap between two, top 15 ranked fighters, as the promotion has announced that Alistair Overeem will battle Roy Nelson at the event.

The upcoming card will take place on March 14th, and will be hosted by the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Overeem (38-14) will be looking to build on the first round, stoppage win he scored over Stefan Struve in November, which followed a TKO loss to Ben Rothwell in September.

Nelson (20-14) is coming off a knockout loss to Mark Hunt in September, after KOíng Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in April.

Overeem is currently ranked #11 in the heavyweight division and Nelson is sitting at #9. Both heavyweights have gone 2-3 in their last 5 bouts.

UFC 185 will feature a lightweight fight between champion Anthony Pettis and Rafael dos Anjos in the main event.
