UFC’s Daniel Cormier Fires Back at Jon Jones After Champ’s Olympics Comments
By FCF Staff
Although Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier won’t square off until UFC 182 next January, it looks like their rivalry isn’t going to quiet down anytime soon.
Prior to the revelation that Jones had injured his knee, and would still fight Cormier at UFC 178 next month, the light-heavyweight champ appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.
During the segment Jones brought up the fact Cormier finished fourth in the 2004 Summer Olympics in wrestling, and questioned what type of medal athletes receive for the placing.
Although Cormier evidently didn’t see Jones’ appearance on the show until recently, here is what the contender had to say about the champion’s comments:
Saw Jones on @jimmykimmel clowning me for 4th in the OLYMPICS. This morning I can across this little nugget 🙂 #dummy pic.twitter.com/ukWigHeYLj

UFC 182 will be hosted by a Las Vegas venue to be determined on January 3rd.
