UFC’s Diego Brandao and Jim Hettes Booked for Fight

Brandao

By FCF Staff

It looks like Diego Brandao will have to defeat Jim Hettes if the former TUF winner  hopes to get back on track, after suffering consecutive, stoppage defeats.

The UFC has announced that the featherweights will fight at UFC 183 on January 31st, which will take place at a venue to-be-determined in Las Vegas.

Brandao (18-10) has been stopped by Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor in his last two outings, after he scored three straight wins.

Hettes (11-2), meanwhile, was TKO’d by Dennis Bermudez in March, after he choked out Robert Whiteford at a Fight Night card last October. The noted grappler has gone 3-2 in the Octagon to date.

UFC 183 will be headlined by a middleweight fight between former champ Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz.
