After being pulled from UFC 205 due a potential anti-doping violation, Lyman Good is denying that he’d knowingly take banned substances.

Good was scheduled to fight Belal Muhammad. on November 12th, but recently USADA flagged the fighter for an out-of-competition test on October 14th. In a follow up report from MMA Fighting.com, Good’s manager forwarded the following text:

“I’d NEVER cheat the journey of hard work and more importantly I’d NEVER cheat myself,” Good wrote. “The integrity of my name is something that I’ve worked too hard just to have it questioned because of whatever the [expletive] they’re saying is in my system.”

The former Bellator welterweight champ is coming off a KO win over Andrew Craig, and Good (19-3) is riding a six fight, undefeated streak.

UFC 205 will be hosted by Madison Square Garden in New York City.
