Although Ricardo Lamas and Conor McGregor likely won’t fight any time too soon, the featherweight contenders continue to hurl verbal shots at one another.

Lamas has relayed in the past that he doesn’t like the outspoken McGregor, who has insulted most of the UFC’s top 145’ers at some juncture.

At UFC 180 on Saturday, Lamas scored an impressive, first round submission win over the surging Dennis Bermudez. After the bout, McGregor posted the following comments on Twitter, which not surprisingly, provoked a response from Lamas.

I would've sponsored Lamas too, only he fought like a pussy against Jose. McGregor Incorporate does not reward pussies who run for 5 rounds.

McGregor is scheduled to fight Dennis Siver on January 18th at UFC Fight Night 59.
