UFC’s Stefan Struve Posts Picture of Broken Jaw

By FCF Staff

Following his stoppage loss to Mark Hunt this past Saturday at UFC on FUEL TV 8, Stefan Struve relayed via Twitter that he had incurred a broken jaw during his entertaining bout with the feared striker. Now, the Dutch heavyweight has posted a picture of his jaw, which vividly demonstrates his injury.

Struve stated on his official Twitter account recently:

For the ones interested, I put my view on the fight online in the coming weeks, why it didn’t go as wanted etc Thanks again for the support

Meens a lot 2 me to get so much positive reactions from you, even tho it was far from my best and imo I should’ve won, happy you enjoyed it!

The 25 year-old Struve (25-6) had won four straight bouts heading into his tilt with Hunt, which included wins over Stipe Miocic, Pat Barry, Lavar Johnson and Dave Herman.

Hunt sent Struve crashing to the mat with a hard left hook in round three, and after referee Herb Dean assessed the massive heavyweight, the bout was called off.

With the win, the former K-1 star has won four straight bouts in the Octagon and now carries a MMA record of 9-7.
