UFC’s Volkan Oezdemir Arrested For Aggravated Battery

One of the UFC’s top light-heavyweight contenders, Volkan Oezdemir, has been arrested in South Florida.
According to an arrest record in Fort Lauderale, the Swiss fighter has been arrested for “Aggravated Battery – Cause Bodily Harm Or Disability”. No details regarding the alleged incident were disclosed.
Oezdemir (15-1) is currently ranked #2 in the UFC’s light-heavyweight division, after going 3-0 in the promotion. Recently champion Daniel Cormier announced that he believes the heavy handed fighter deserves the next title shot.
