UFC’s Yan Cabral Reporting Bout With KJ Noons is Next
By FCF Staff
It looks like KJ Noons and Yan Cabral are set to fight one another, as the latter is reporting he’s agreed to battle the lightweight on May 30th.
The bout would be part of UFC Fight Night 67, which will take place in Goiania, Brazil.
Cabral reported the match-up via his Instagram feed, and Noons has also retweeted a post regarding the fight.
Noons (13-7) is coming off a no contest result versus Daron Cruickshank in December, as the latter was unable to continue after incurring an accidental eye poke. Noons had scored a decision win over George Sotiropoulos, and a KO victory over Sam Stout, in his previous two fights.
Cabral (12-1) tapped out Naoyuki Kotani in his last outing, which went down in October. Prior to that, the renowned grappler was decisioned by welterweight Zak Cummings in May.
