With Adlan Amagov no longer able to compete at UFC Fight Night 35 next month, Jason High has announced that he’ll battle Octagon newcomer Beneil Dariush at the January 15th event.

High announced the news via Twitter by stating:

New opponent Beneil Dariush. Still goin down January 15th @UFC Fight Night in Atlanta don’t trip.

Amagov has reportedly dropped out of the bout due to an undisclosed injury.

Dariush (6-0) is a 24 year-old member of Wanderlei Silva’s fight team and has gone undefeated since he turned pro in 2009.

The 32 year-old High (18-4), meanwhile, is coming off consecutive wins over Anthony Lapsley and James Head, after being submitted by Erick Silva in June, 2013.

UFN 35 will be hosted by the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia, and will feature Luke Rockhold taking on Costa Philippou in the main event.
