Although Mark Hunt wasn’t able to fly out of Australia today to begin his final trek towards a May 25th bout with Junior dos Santos, the feared striker is confident the UFC 160 fight will still take place.

In a recent report from MMA Fighting.com, Hunt relayed that UFC officials are working with authorities to sort out the visa issues he’s having, and that he’ll be leaving for Las Vegas soon.

Earlier Thursday, Hunt reported via Twitter that he had been “Denied again at airport I’m never helping anymore dikhead mates” and referred to a previous incident that has caused his visa issues. Hunt clarified to MMA Fighting that the arrest he was referring to took place in 2002, before claiming he was innocent of any wrongdoing.

The 39 year-old-fighter, who is coming off TKO wins over Cheick Kongo and Stefan Struve, has fought several times in the U.S. since 2002.
