After having a four-fight winning streak snapped by Sean Strickland on Saturday, Uriah Hall has released a statement, in which he commented on the defeat.

Hall faced Strickland in the main event of UFC Vegas 33, and was outstruck by the latter. Hall lost the fight via a clear-cut, unanimous decision.

Since then, the feared striker shared out the statement below via social media.

Tough one last night. Congratulations to @strickland_mma. I was prepared he was just the better man last night. This one hurts, but I’ll be back. Thank you for all the messages and love. It means more then you know. Oss

The defeat dropped the 37-year-old’s record to 17-0. Hall was coming off consecutive wins over Bevon Lewis, Antonio Carlos Junior, Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman.

Strickland (24-3), meanwhile, has won five straight.
