Urijah Faber Returns to Top 15 Bantamweight Ranks, Following UFC Sacramento Win

After ending his two plus year retirement last weekend, and recording a win at UFC Sacramento, Urijah Faber has returned to the promotion’s top 15, bantamweight rankings.
Faber returned to the Octagon for the first time since December, 2016 on Saturday, and proceeded to finish Ricky Simon in the opening round. The UFC’s updated rankings have been posted and Faber is now ranked #14 in the 135 division.
Ryan Hall, who outscored Darren Elkins for the decision win, has moved into the top 15 of the featherweight division for the first time and is sitting in the #14 spot.
Mirsad Bektic, who was stopped by Josh Emmett at the event, dropped three rankings and is now #15. Emmett, meanwhile, moved up one spot to #9.
Julianna Pena has jumped up into the #4 position of the women’s bantamweight bracket, after earning a decision win over Nicco Montano.
