USADA Confirms Brock Lesnar Has Returned to Drug Testing Pool
By FCF Staff
Following the news that Brock Lesnar is going to fight new heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier next, USADA has confirmed the pro-wrestling star has re-entered the organization’s drug testing pool.
According to a statement from USADA, Lesnar will be eligible to fight again on January 8th, 2019. The former heavyweight champ is still serving out the remainder of a one year suspension he received, after he tested positive for the banned substance clomiphene in 2016.
As a result of that test, Lesnar’s decision win over Mark Hunt in July, 2016, and UFC 200, was overturned to a no-contest.
Cormier secured the heavyweight title at UFC 226 this past weekend, by knocking out Stipe Miocic in the first round.
