USADA has confirmed that a blood test that Jon Jones was given, after he stopped Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, did not test positive for any banned substances.

Recently the organization announced that Jones has been notified of a potential doping violation, as a result of a test he was given, the day prior to UFC 214. In a new report from MMA Fighting, USADA confirmed that while Jones post-fight blood test was negative for performance enhancing drugs, blood tests do not screen for turinabol, which is the steroid Jones allegedly tested positive for.

Since news of Jones’ USADA flag surfaced, his management has denied that the light-heavyweight champ knowingly took any type of PED. Jones’ manager, Malki Kawa, has also cited several other drug tests Jones passed, prior to UFC 214.

Jones recently completed a one year suspension that he was handed by USADA, after he tested positive for banned substances last July. Jones and his team demonstrated that a sexual enhancement pill he had taken, tested positive for the banned substances.
