It looks like Vitor Belfort’s retirement will be a short one, as recently the legendary fighter announced he plans to fight again next year.

The 41-year-old star recently appeared on Ariel Helwani’s “MMA Show”, and Belfort reported that he will be “back” in 2019. Belfort reportedly didn’t rule out a possible return to the UFC, but he added he wants to sign with a promotion where he can “bring value” to the company.

Belfort (26-14, 1 no-contest) initially retired after he was knocked out by Lyoto Machida this past May. The former UFC champ has gone 1-3, with 1 no-contest in his last 5 bouts.
