Former Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion Jordan ‘The Epidemic’ Vucenic’s return to the cage has been locked in, as he faces surging Italian prospect Tiziano ‘The Golden Boy’ Ferranti at CW 150.

The 145lb contest will serve as the main event of the promotion’s first European card of the year, set to go down on Friday, March 17th, at London’s indigo at The O2.

Vucenic returns to action off the back of a valiant effort against old rival Paul Hughes in the same venue last November.

The pair met to unify Vucenic’s title and Hughes’ interim championship, with ‘The Epidemic’ showing unparalleled heart and toughness for the duration.

Prior to that, the 26 year old from Corby, UK had been on a stunning run of form, defeating Hughes in a title eliminator, Morgan Charriere to capture the belt and James Hendin to defend it.

Vucenic will be looking to mount another run at the gold when he faces Italy’s Tiziano Ferranti.

Undefeated in six professional outings, Ferranti is quickly building a reputation as one of the most consistent finishers in the division.

Perfect in seven amateur contests prior to hitting the pro ranks, the 22 year old from Rome, Italy is riding a streak of 13 consecutive finishes.

With five of his last six coming by way of KO or TKO, including three in the first round and two in the first minute, ‘The Golden Boy’ will be looking to leapfrog the pack into title contention with a win on March 17th.

“Hughes vs Vucenic 2 was one of the biggest fights in Cage Warriors history…” said CW President Graham Boylan.

“Things didn’t go Jordan’s way on the night, but he has a champion’s mindset, and wants to get right back in there to test himself against another dangerous opponent.”

“They don’t come much more dangerous than Tiziano Ferranti. Just 22 years old and already knocking out opponents for fun, he’s got the tools to pose some serious problems for anyone in the division.”

“This one has ‘fireworks’ written all over it!”

Vucenic vs Ferranti joins an already stacked card, with former 145lb champion Morgan Charriere facing former title challenger James Hendin, former 185lb champion James Webb meeting Alan Carlos and a barn-burner between one half of CW’s 2022 ‘Fight of the Year’ Justin Burlinson and heavy-handed slugger Jamie Richardson.

Tickets for CW 150, which also airs live on UFC Fight Pass and international broadcast partners, are available from CageWarriors.com!
