The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s upcoming March 3rd card in Saitama, Japan, will feature a fighter who needs no introduction to that nation’s fans, as the promotion has confirmed former PRIDE champ Wanderlei Silva will take on Brian Stann.

The five round bout will take place at 205 pounds and will headline the UFC on FUEL TV 8 card.

Silva (34-12) hasn’t competed since June, when he lost by unanimous decision to Rich Franklin, while Stann (12-5) is coming off a UD loss to Michael Bisping in September.

The UFC has also confirmed several more bouts for the card, as former PRIDE lightweight champ Takanori Gomi will take on Diego Sanchez, rising heavyweight Stefan Struve will face PRIDE and K-1 vet Mark Hunt, and South Korean star Dong Hyun Kim will battle welterweight Siyar Bahadurzada.

Other announced match-ups include middleweight Riki Fukuda vs. Brad Tavares, bantamweight Takeya Mizugaki vs. Bryan Caraway, welterweight Hyun Gyu Lim vs. Marcelo Guimares and bantamweight Kyung Ho Kang vs. Alex Caceres.

The March 3rd event will be hosted by the Saitama Super Arena and will be broadcast on FUEL TV.
