After winning the UFC’s strawweight title this past August, it looks like Weili Zhang will defend the belt against former champ, Joanna Jedrzejcyzk.

Zhang (20-1) secured the strawweight belt at UFC FN 157, by quickly topping Jessica Andrade. Zhang has gone 4-0 to date in the UFC.

According to a report from MMA Fighting, Zhang and Jedrzejcyzk have verbally agreed to fight at the UFC’s March 7th event. No location or venue has been confirmed yet for the card, which will likely be UFC 248.

Jedrzejcyzk (16-3) is coming off a decision win over Michelle Waterson in October, after failing to win the flyweight title last December, when she lost via decision to Valentina Shevchenko.
