By FCF Staff

As a result of Rousimar Palhares and Chris Camozzi both withdrawing from UFC 150 due to injury, the promotion has announced that their scheduled opponents, Yushin Okami and Buddy Roberts, will now square off.

The nature of the injuries that forced Palhares and Camozzi from the card was not disclosed.

Roberts (12-2) is coming off a successful UFC debut in June, as the Jackson’s MMA fighter scored a unanimous decision win over Caio Magalhaes at UFC on FX 3.

The 29 year-old-fighter is currently riding a six fight win streak.

Okami (26-7) is looking to rebound from back-to-back stoppage losses to champion Anderson Silva and Tim Boetsch after scoring wins over Lucio Linhares, Mark Munoz and Nate Marquardt. The 31 year-old-veteran has gone 10-4 in the UFC to date.

UFC 150 will be hosted by Denver’s Pepsi Center on August 11th and will feature a rematch between lightweight champion Benson Henderson and former champ Frankie Edgar.
