Caros Fodor and his brother Ben apparently didn’t burn the bridge between them after all, but that doesn’t mean they’re not willing to fight in the World Series of Fighting cage…

Recently WSOF announced it has signed the UFC and Strikeforce vet Caros, after he went 3-1 while competing for ONE Championship in Asia. The signing came after Ben joined the promotion earlier this year, and since then, he’s gone 1-1 while fighting for the promotion.

In the past, Caros relayed that he didn’t get along very well with his brother, who is also widely known as “Phoenix Jones”, a costumed crime fighter. But, in a recent appearance on Full Contact Fighter Radio, here is what Caros had to say about his relationship with Ben.

“We’re actually on pretty good terms now,” said Caros. “We’re still 100% open to fighting each other. That’s never going to change. He’s actually training with me now at my gym, and it’s totally different than it was a couple of year ago…We’re getting along a little bit better now and I actually cornered him in his last fight for World Series.”

That fight took place at WSOF 23 earlier this month, and Ben Fodor tapped out Roberto Yong with a leg scissor choke in round one. In Ben’s WSOF debut this past April, he was decisioned by Emmanuel Walo. The 27 year-old’s record stands at 6-1-1.

“We have a better relationship, but…we’re still 100% down to fight,” Caros added. “Hopefully one day that will happen.”

It’s an interesting situation for Ben Fodor, as due to his well documented, and some would say controversial activities as “Phoenix Jones”, his burgeoning MMA career has received plenty of coverage. With that spotlight, however, comes added pressure.

“Yeah, absolutely, I would agree with that,” said the 31 year-old Caros, while discussing the attention and subsequent pressure his brother has to deal with. “They’ve pushed him pretty hard for publicity. He’s actually a marketing genius…with that he gets a lot of attention and they’re going to want to see you fight some really good guys, so he’s got to make sure his skillset grows…”

Caros Fodor is coming off a submission over Vincent Latoel in September, and the 31 year-old currently holds an overall record of 10-4.

The AMC Pankration fighter’s WSOF debut has yet to be announced.
