World Series of Fighting has confirmed several more bouts for the main card of its January 17th event, “Shields vs. Foster”.

WSOF 17 will be hosted by the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the main card will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network.

At lightweight, Johnny Nunez (5-0) will take on Brian Cobb (20-8). Nunez is coming off a split decision win over Ozzy Dugulubgov last March, and Cobb hasn’t fought since January, 2013, when he was stopped by champion Justin Gaethje.

In middleweight action, Krasimir Mladenov (11-0) will battle Brendan Kornberger (5-0). The latter scored a stoppage win over Brad Stewart, while competing for Five Star Fight League in October, after recording a TKO win over Micah Brakefield at WSOF 7 in 2013.

Mladenov, meanwhile, is looking to build on a decision win he earned over Angel DeAnda at WSOF 10 last June.

WSOF has also announced that bantamweight Bryson Hansen (7-2) will take on Rudy Morales (3-1) and that welterweight Adam Cella (6-2) will face Danny Davis Jr. (10-8-1).

The WSOF 17 card will feature a welterweight bout between Jake Shields and Brian Foster in the main event.
