WSOF 17: Jake Shields Leads Way in Salaries

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the payroll figures for last weekend’s WSOF 17 show in Las Vegas, and not surprisingly, UFC vet Jake Shields led the way.
The former Strikeforce champ reportedly earned $65,000 for his first round, submission victory over welterweight Brian Foster, who was paid $15,000.
The January 17th event was hosted by the Planet Hollywood Casino and Resort.
Here are the salaries that were disclosed to the NSAC by World Series of Fighting. They do not include any additional money a fighter may have earned through sponsorships or other kinds of bonuses.
Jake Shields: $65,000 (including $35,000 win bonus)

Krasimir Mladenov: $4,000 ($2,000 win bonus)
def. Brendan Kornberger: $2,000
Bryson Hansen: $8,000 ($4,000 win bonus)

Danny Davis Jr.: $4,120 (includes $2,000 win bonus and $120 from Cella’s fine for missing weight)*
def. Adam Cella: $960 (fighter was fined $240 for missing weight)
Jordan Rinaldi: $2,000 ($1,000 win bonus)

Donavon Frelow: $2,000 ($1,000 win bonus)
def. Taylor McCorriston: $1,000
Trey Williams: $1,500 ($750 win bonus)
