One of the preliminary card additions will see UFC vet Jacob Volkmann take on lightweight Luiz Firmino. Volkmann (16-4) worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Lyle Beerbohm at WSOF 3 in June, which was his promotional debut.

Firmino (16-6) will arrive in the WSOF having won three straight fights, which includes a UD victory over Luis Palomino at a Championship Fight Alliance event in January.
