WSOF 7: UFC Vet Kalib Starnes Versus Dwayne Lewis Amongst Latest Additions
By FCF Staff
World Series of Fighting has announced three more preliminary bouts for the promotion’s upcoming Canadian debut, which will go down December 7th in Vancouver, British Columbia.
At light-heavyweight, UFC veteran Kalib Starnes will take on former MFC contender Dwayne Lewis. The 38 year-old Starnes (15-8-1) is currently riding a three fight win streak, which includes victories over fellow Octagon vet Tim Hague and most recently Clay Davidson.
Lewis (13-8), meanwhile, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Tim Chemelli while competing for Aggression Fighting Championship in July, after losing consecutive bouts to Ryan Jimmo and Wilson Gouveia under the MFC banner.
In addition, the WSOF has announced that Shawn Albrecht (9-5) will fight King of the Cage Canadian featherweight champ Josh Machan (11-4) and that TUF 16 vet Michael “The Messenger” Hill (5-2) will face weltereweight Jordan Knippelberg (8-2).
Here is the updated line-up to date for WSOF 7, which will be hosted by Vancouver’s PNE Agrodome and will be broadcast in the U.S. on the NBC Sports Network.
