WSOF Confirms March 23rd Line-Up: Andrei Arlovski vs. Anthony Johnson Headlining
Tyson Nam Fighting Marlon Moraes in Co-Main-Event

World Series of Fighting has announced the line-up for the promotion’s second event, which will take place March 23rd at Revel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. As expected, the card will feature former UFC heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski (19-9) taking on Octagon vet Anthony Johnson (15-3). In the co-main-event, bantamweight Tyson Nam (12-4) will face Marlon Moraes (9-4)
“We are excited to bring the World Series of Fighting brand of MMA to Atlantic City, where some of the greatest fights in history have taken place,” WSOF President and decorated kickboxing competitor Ray Sefo was quoted saying in a press release from the promotion. “Andrei Arlovski, Anthony Johnson and Marlon Moraes are all coming off superb performances on our inaugural fight card, and Tyson Nam has been on fire of late, so we felt that it was essential to showcase these stars at the top of our first card on the East Coast.”
Other bouts that have been confirmed for the main card include welterweight Josh Burkman (24-9) versus fellow UFC vet Aaron “A-Train” Simpson (12-4), former WEC champion Paulo Filho (23-4) versus middleweight David Branch (11-3), and lightweight “J.Z.” Cavalcante (16-6) versus Justin Gaethje (7-0).
A six-bout preliminary will feature featherweight Rick “The Gladiator” Glenn (12-2) vs. Alexandre Pimentel (12-0), featherweight Waylon Lowe (13-4) vs. Cameron Dollar (11-4) and welterweight Igor Gracie (5-3) of Rio de Janeiro will face an opponent to be announced.
Welterweight Ozzy Dugulubgov (3-1) and middleweight Danillo “Indio” Villefort (13-4) will also compete on the card, however, opponents have yet to be determined.
The card will air live on the NBC Sports Network beginning at 9:30pm EST / 6:30PM PST.
