WSOF Signs Ben Fodor- “Phoenix Jones” -to a Contract
By FCF Staff
World Series of Fighting has reportedly signed Ben Fodor–also known as “Phoenix Jones”–to a contract, not long after a story about the controversial crimefighter aired on ESPN last week.
Multiple outlets are reporting Fodor’s signing, and WSOF Vice President and matchmaker Ali Abdel-Aziz has relayed the news on Instagram.
MMA Junkie.com is reporting that Fodor will make his WSOF debut on April 10th. The welterweight’s opponent has not been announced yet.
The 26 year-old Fodor, who is the brother of UFC and ONE Championship vet Caros Fodor, has gone 5-0-1 to date in pro MMA.
Most recently, at a Super Fight League event in February, Fodor choked out Jason Novelli.
