UFC Announces Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill Fight
By FCF Staff
After weeks of speculation and rumors, regarding what bout will headline UFC 300, the historic card finally has its main event.
On Saturday, the UFC announced that light-heavyweight champ Alex Pereira will battle former champ, Jamahal Hill, in the card’s headliner.
Pereira (9-2) secured the light-heavyweight title in November by stopping Jiri Prochazka in round two. That bout followed the former middleweight champ’s split decision win over Jan Blachowicz in July.
Hill (12-1), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since January, 2023, when he won the light-heavyweight title by recording a decision win over Glover Teixeira. Later in the year, Hill ruptured his Achille’s tendon and elected to vacate the title.
UFC 300 will be hosted by the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 13th.
