Dan Hooker Injured, Out of Bout With Justin Gaethje, Rafael Fiziev Offers to be Replacement

A highly anticipated bout between Justin Gaethje and Dan Hooker will not go down at UFC 313, as the latter is reporting he’s incurred a hand injury.
The lightweight contenders were scheduled to fight in the co-headliner of the March 8th card. But, recently Hooker announced via YouTube that a “busted paw” will prevent him from competing. The news was initially shared by reporter Benny P.
Since then, Rafael Fiziev has offered to step in as a replacement. Fiziev fought Gaethje in March, 2023, and lost via decision.
The headliner for UFC 313 will feature light-heavyweight champ Alex Pereira taking on Magomed Ankalaev.
UFC 313 will be hosted by T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
