UFC Announces Nassourdine Imavov – Caio Borralho Fight
By FCF Staff
Nassourdine Imavov was driving for a title shot, after taking out Israel Adesanya, but the middleweight will need to get by fellow contender Caio Borralho first.
Recently, the UFC announced that Imavov and Borralho will square off in the headliner of the promotion’s September 6th card in Paris, France.
Imavov (16-4) is riding a five-fight, undefeated streak, which includes wins over Brendan Allen, Jared Cannonier, Roman Dolidze, and the aforementioned, Adesanya. The 30-year-old Dagestani, who trains out of France, is currently ranked #1 in the middleweight division.
Borralho (17-1), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since last August when he recorded a unanimous decision win over Jared Cannonier. The 32-year-old Brazilian has gone undefeated in 17 straight fights. Currently, Borralho is ranked #6.
