October is shaping up to be a massive month for UFC fans, as the promotion has announced it will feature three championship fights.
Recently, UFC CEO Dana White announced that heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall, will battle former interim champ Ciryl Gane at UFC 321. The card will take place on October 25th in Abu Dhabi.
The bout will mark the first time Aspinall has competed as the undisputed champ, as he had held the interim title since 2023, before now former champ, Jon Jones recently retired.
In addition, White announced that UFC 320 will feature a rematch between light-heavyweight champ Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira. Ankalaev ended Pereira’s reign in March by recording a unanimous decision win over him. Neither fighter has fought since.
And, White also confirmed that bantamweight champ Merab Dvalishvili will take on longtime contender, Cory Sandhagen at UFC 320.
The October 4th card, which will be hosted by T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, will also feature former light-heavyweight champ Jiri Prochazka facing Khalil Rountree Jr.
