UFC 230: Daniel Cormier vs. Derrick Lewis Reportedly Booked For NYC Card

UFC 230 has received a new main event, less than a month out from the November 3rd card, as it’s being reported that Derrick Lewis will challenge heavyweight champ Daniel Cormier.
Lewis is coming off a come from behind, knockout win over Alexander Volkov this past Saturday at UFC 229. According to a report from ESPN, Cormier – Lewis has been added to the upcoming, New York City card.
Due to the new main event, a bout between Valentina Shevchenko and Sijara Eubanks for the vacant flyweight title has been cancelled. Shevchenko will instead, face Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the vacant 125 title at UFC 231, December 8th in Toronto.
The light-heavyweight champ Cormier also won the heavyweight title this past July, by knocking out Stipe Miocic.
