Following her successful title defense this past August, it’s being reported the UFC’s flyweight champ Valentina Shevchenko will take on Katlyn Chookagian next.

The fighters are expected to battle at a February 8th card, which will likely take place in Houston, Texas. Multiple sources have confirmed the match-up to ESPN.

The 31-year-old Shevchenko (18-3) is coming off a decision win over Liz Carmouche in August, which followed her vicious, knockout of Jessica Eye in June.

The 30-year-old Chookagian (13-2) worked her way to a decision victory over Jennifer Maia earlier this month at UFC 244. In June, she recorded a UD win over Joanne Calderwood.

The UFC has yet to officially announced the reported title fight.
