As a result of McKee’s withdrawal, Rizin lightweight champ Roberto “Satoshi” De Souza has agreed to step up on short notice and fight Freire.
McKee (20-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over the aforementioned De Souza, which took place on New Year’s Eve.
