Alex Pereira Posts Video Footage of Breaking Toe, Two Weeks Prior to UFC 300

Alex Pereira didn’t end up needing to fight long at UFC 300. But, recently the light heavyweight champ revealed he headed into his bout, not long removed from breaking his toe.
Pereira (10-2) faced former champ Jamahal Hill at the April 13th event, and knocked him out with a series of punches in the opening round. More recently, the 36-year-old shared out the video below, which captures Pereira breaking his toe in sparring.
The decorated, Brazilian fighter has won three straight fights, since he lost the middleweight title to Israel Adesanya in April, 2023.
UFC 300 was hosted by T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
