Alexander Gustafsson versus Ben Rothwell targeted for UFC’s May Event

According to a report from FrontKickOnline and MMAJunkie, Alexander Gustafsson versus Ben Rothwell is being targeted for the UFC’s May 21st event. Bout will be contested at heavyweight. Location will be revealed at a later date.
This will be Alexander Gustafsson’s second bout at heavyweight after losing his debut bout at heavyweight against Fabricio Werdum in July 2020.
Ben Rothwell has been more active on his end, fighting twice in 2021 with winning bout via submission against Chris Barnett in May and losing his last bout via first round TKO against Marcos Rogerio De Lima.
