Aljamain Sterling Reports He’s “OK”, Following Vicious KO Loss
By FCF Staff
Aljamain Sterling is reporting he’s okay, following his vicious, knockout loss to Marlon Moraes at UFC Fight Night 123.
Sterling was knocked out instantly in the opening round, when he shot in on Moraes but was met with a knee to the jaw. Sterling reportedly remained down for several minutes after taking the knee, and Moraes was visibly concerned about the bantamweight during his post-fight interview.
After the card, the 28 year-old Sterling tweeted out the comment below:
Hats off to Marlon. Thought I timed the TD perfectly and he was able to land a nasty knee. Sucks to be the nail, but this is the fight game. I'm ok for all those asking

With the loss Saturday, Sterling’s overall record dropped to 14-3. The New York fighter was coming off consecutive wins over Renan Barao and Augusto Mendes prior to UFC FN 123.
