The UFC has added a championship fight to its spring schedule, as it’s being reported that the planned bout between Amanda Nunes and Megan Anderson has been rebooked.

Nunes was supposed to defend the featherweight title against Anderson at the recent UFC 256 card. But, the champ-champ was forced to withdraw due to health issues. ESPN is reporting that UFC officials have confirmed that Nunes and Anderson have agreed to fight at UFC 259, March 6th.

Anderson (11-4) is coming off a KO win over Norma Dumont Viana in February and is 3-2 in her last 5 bouts.

The bantamweight and featherweight champ Nunes (20-4) is riding an 11 fight winning streak. In her last outing, this past June, she defeated Felicia Spencer via decision.

No venue or location has been determined yet for UFC 259.
