Amanda Nunes Tells Cris “Cyborg” She’s “Done With 145”
By FCF Staff
Cris “Cyborg” and others have been calling for an immediate rematch between the former featherweight champ and Amanda Nunes, but the latter recently reported she won’t be returning to 145.
Nunes took the featherweight title from “Cyborg” last month at UFC 232, by quickly knocking out the renowned fighter. The loss was “Cyborg’s” first under MMA rules since 2005.
“Cyborg” recently called for a rematch with Nunes via social media, but the bantamweight and featherweight champ responded with this via Twitter.
Sorry Cristiane but I’m done with 145. My Goal was to be a double champ. But, now I can help you build the division. I got someone for you @Judo_Kayla is a true 145er
