Amanda Nunes Tells Dana White “Call Me”
By FCF Staff
Following UFC 307, which saw Julianna Pena reclaim the women’s bantamweight title, Amanda Nunes has asked Dana White to call her via a social media post.
Nunes recently posted a video in which, while singing, she asked the UFC President to contact her. The 36-year-old, who at one time held both the bantamweight and featherweight belts, retired last summer after defeating Irene Aldana.
Prior to her win over Aldana, Nunes (23-5) defeated Pena by decision in July, 2022, which avenged her submission loss to the current champ in December, 2021.
Pena (12-5) recorded a decision win over Raquel Pennington at UFC 307. Pennington was fighting for the first time sine she initially won the belt in January by recording a decision win over Mayra Bueno Silva.
