Anderson Silva Says He’s “Back”
By FCF Staff
Not long after Anderson Silva’s horrific leg injury at UFC 168 he said his career wasn’t over, and since then the legend continues to post updates regarding his recovery.
In Silva’s latest tweet, the 38 year-old posted the photo above, as well as the statement “Estou voltando.” The Portuguese words mean “I’m back” according to Google translate.
The tweet doesn’t indicate whether it’s a recent picture of Silva training, but considering his posts lately have been documenting his recovery, it could be. Several days ago Silva posted a clip on Vine showing him walk on a treadmill.
The former middleweight champ also tweeted this weekend:
#TrueChampions are people, parents and children who struggle every day to overcome obstacles and take firmer steps.

Silva broke his leg on December 28th after middleweight champ Chris Weidman checked his kick. Silva is expected to miss much of 2014 as a result of the injury.
