Artur Beterbiev Defeats Dmitry Bivol With Narrow & Debated Decision (Highlights)

Artur Beterbiev emerged victorious in his long-awaited and highly anticipated boxing match with Dmitry Bivol today in Saudi Arabia. But, debate and discussion around how the fight was scored will likely continue.
Early on, Bivol bested Beterbiev in many of the exchanges. But, as the fight wore on, Beterbiev never relented in pressuring Bivol and he scored more often in the latter rounds.
Following the entertaining fight, it was announced Beterbiev had unified the WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO light-heavyweight titles via scores of 114-114, 115-113, and 116-112.
After the bout, Beterbiev said he would be willing to rematch Bivol.
With the win, Beterbiev moved his overall record to 21-0, while Bivol’s fell to 23-1 with his first pro-defeat.
