Doerksen joins Team Extreme Joe Doerksen of Winnipeg, Manitoba, has become the 16th member of the Team Extreme, managed by Extreme Challenge promoter Monte Cox. Doerksen, who has an 11-2 NHB record with losses only to UFC stars Matt Hughes and Eugene Jackson, is coming off a tourney win at Extreme Challenge 36 where he defeated UFC fighter Adrian Serrano. Other team members include: Jermaine Andre, Jason Black, LaVerne Clark, Ben Earwood, C.J. Fernandes, Bobby Hoffman, Jeremy Horn, Mark Hughes, Matt Hughes, Dave Menne, Pat Miletich, Jens Pulver, Andre Roberts, Nate Schroeder and Dave Strasser. As a group, the team owns three top NHB titles… Miletich is UFC lightweight champion; Clark is WEF welterweight champion; and Menne is WEF middleweight champion. Also as a group, the team has a record of 20-5-1 in UFC competition. |
