BAMMA 17: Undefeated Walter Gahadza to Face Mickael Lebout
By FCF Staff
The British Association of Mixed Martial Arts continues to build the line-up for its December 6th show, and the latest bout to be booked will see undefeated welterweight Walter Gahadza battle Mickael Lebout.
Gahadza has won 14 straight fights since turning pro in 2011, and is coming off a decision win over Shaun Lomas in April. The fighter was quoted saying in the official announcement:
“I’m very excited to be fighting on BAMMA against a great opponent like Mickael but make no mistake that on December 6th the fans are going to see the best Sniper ever and Mikael is just the unfortunate guy standing in front of my scope when it’s time for me to blast somebody”.
Lebout (11-3-1), meanwhile, scored a stoppage win over Davy Gallon in his last outing, which took last month at a Strength and Honor Championship card. The French fighter stated:
“For my BAMMA debut, Walter Gahadza represents a tough fighter to face, one of the top UK welterweight prospects, undefeated… So taking such a fighter and getting a victory over him would end my year greatly and it would end his year with his first defeat of his career. Anyway, Walter will remember the 6th December all his life, this night he will the first loss on his fight record.”
BAMMA 17 will be hosted by the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England.
