Bellator has announced that its heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov will look to defend his title for the first time on November 22nd, when he faces Vitaly Minakov. Bellator 108 will take place on that date at the Sands Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Volkov (19-3) secured the vacant Bellator championship in late 2012, by scoring wins over Brett Rogers, Vinicius Queiroz and then Richard Hale in the tourney finals.

Minakov (12-0) earned a title shot recently, by stopping Ron Sparks and Ryan Martinez to win Bellator’s Summer Series tourney.

The main card for Bellator 108 will be broadcast live on SPIKE.
