Bellator 138: Former Champ Daniel Straus Booked For Bout
By FCF Staff
Bellator has announced that its June 19th card in St. Louis, Missouri will feature former featherweight champ Daniel Straus taking on Henry Corrales.
The upcoming event will be hosted by the city’s Scottrade center.
Straus (22-6) will be looking to get back on track after he was submitted by reigning champ, Patricio Freire, in the fourth round of their January 16th bout. Prior to that the well accomplished fighter stopped Justin Wilcox in October.
Corrales (12-0) makes his way to Bellator having gone undefeated while fighting for organizations like King of the Cage, Long Beach Fight Night and Gladiator Challenge.
Bellator 138 will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Ken Shamrock and Kimbo Slice.
The aforementioned Freire is also scheduled to face Daniel Weichel.
