Bellator has announced that a rematch between Matt Mitrione and Sergei Kharitonov will headline the promotion’s August 24th card in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The heavyweights fought this past February, but the fight was declared a no-contest, as Kharitonov could not continue after taking a low blow seconds in.

Prior to the bout, Kharitonov (28-6) stopped Roy Nelson at Bellator 207 last October. Mitrione (13-6), meanwhile, was coming off a decision loss to Ryan Bader on that same card.

No other bouts have been announced yet for Bellator 222, which will be broadcast on the Paramount Network and DAZN at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
