Bellator 262 took place on Friday in Uncasville, Connecticut, and it saw Juliana Velasquez retain the women’s flyweight title, via a split decision win.
Velasquez faced noted kickboxer Denise Kielholtz in the main event, and was awarded the bout via two judges, with scores of 48-47, 48-47. One judge had the fight 48-47 for Kielholtz.
Velasquez moved her record to 12-0 with the victory and Kielholtz’s now stands at 6-3.
