Bellator Announces Open Tryouts for January 28th

Bellator Fighting Championships has announced that the promotion will host open tryouts, January 28th, at the Daddis Fight Camps in Philadelphia. Registration for the tryouts begin at 1PM ET and the workouts will begin one hour later at 2.
Previous competitors who have landed bouts with Bellator via the open tryout path include Kenny Foster, Bryan Goldsby, Giedrius Karavackas, Jeremy Spoon, Ailton Barbosa, Gregory Milliard, Tyler Stinson, and James Krause.
“We’ve had tremendous success with our open tryouts in the past, and I expect the same type of talent to come out on January 28th,” Bellator Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney was quoted saying in a press release. “This is an organization that rewards fighters that have earned their spot, and that’s what these tryouts are all about.”
The workouts will consists of both a grappling and striking session.
Fighters wishing to tryout must present their MixedMartialArts.com ID and they cannot have any contractual obligation to another MMA promotion. Athletes must also bring their own mouthpiece, cup, boxing and MMA gloves.
