Bellator has announced the alternate bout for its upcoming light-heavyweight tournament, as UFC vet Francis Carmont will take on Philipe Lins.

The fight will go down at the September 19th “Dynamite” card, which will be hosted by San Jose’s SAP Center.

Carmont (23-10) made his promotional debut in March and earned a UD win over Guilherme Viana. The French fighter had lost three in a row prior to that.

Lins (9-1) will be looking to get back on track, after suffering his first pro loss versus Kelly Anundson in July. The bout was stopped after Lins incurred a knee injury.

The tourney’s other competitors include “King Mo” Lawal, Emanuel Newton, Phil Davis and Linton Vassell. The competition’s opening round match-ups haven’t been announced.
