Bellator’s Paul Daley And Douglas Lima Verbally Spar After Latter Announces Injury
By FCF Staff
It loos as though the injury woes of Douglas Lima continue, as Bellator’s welterweight champ is reporting that he’s had to drop out of his February 27th scrap with Paul Daley.
Lima and Daley were scheduled to fight at Bellator 134, which will take place in Uncasville, Connecticut. Lima, however, recently announced via Twitter:
I'm again devastated to announce but I did get injured again in camp. Recovery is just 4-6 weeks I should be able to fight April or May.

Daley’s response to the news on Facebook evidently didn’t sit well with Lima, who proceeded to tweet:
Keep talking homie… Wait till I put my hands on you! Just wait I'll be healthy soon enough…. pic.twitter.com/jWed11G1SI

The 27 year-old Lima, who has won five straight fights, has fought just once since 2013 due to injuries.
Bellator has not made any official announcement regarding Lima’s reported injury.
